His grave,discovered during the conques of Istanbul, was enclosed by a large mausoleum , and next to it the first prominent mosque in Istanbul was built. |

It was built in the 6th century, in the reign of Justinian,to supply water to the palace complex nearby.There are 28 columns in each of the 12 rows of columns (a total of 336) and the cistern measures 140 metres by 70 metres .
